Our history–a small prairie credit union that has been around for over 85 years.

We started out as the St. Bruno’s Parish Savings and Credit Union in 1938, and in 1942 we began renting office space from the Bruno Lumber Co. for $4 per month. From these humble beginnings, we became Bruno Savings and Credit Union Limited in 1961 and in 1968 we built a brand-new office for $35,000. We still operate out of this building today.

On January 1st, 1995, La Caisse Populaire De Prud’homme Savings and Credit Union Ltd. amalgamated with Bruno Savings and Credit Union Ltd. to form the organization we’re so proud of today.
